RE: @tokinogake@mastodon.social
my new album just came out today with Tokinogake! It's a collection of tracks I recorded in 2025. Thanks for giving it a listen!
So happy that my track "ayrtbh - h" is on General Magic's new mixtape, released by @tokinogake@mastodon.social

Testing a “dynamic card” system which has the flexibility to plug in a drum card, poly synth card, mono synth card, or visual card for various live sets, with each card equipped with its own preset system. I'm the bypass clicker.

Another cool thing about Zebra 3 is it's 80.9 MB

The PA was really loud, so I said, 'What?' Then she repeated the question, picked out a violin from her bag, and started to play.

@Cognessence@social.linux.pizza Thank you! That one was released by the label Tokinogake. @tokinogake@mastodon.social They have a Discord community, which is also a very lovely place: https://discord.gg/BVRuT3Jfr

@Cognessence@social.linux.pizza I'm not very familiar with Hong Kong's music scene, but there's a venue called 20Alpha that hosts a lot of experimental music — definitely worth checking out. Here are my last 2 albums: https://ayrtbh.bandcamp.com/album/bust-fossil

Thanks for asking! Nice to meet you too!

I'm preparing a new set for a show at the end of this month. It might not be the best idea, as the venue has significant reverb.

'Can't you play another song?' I said: "OK, no problem," and continued playing the same set.

@t36s it's not out yet, the livestream was yesterday I think the byyb staff are probably still editing it.

@pkirn@mastodon.social The new option that lets mouse scrolling only move the view without changing knob values is great — and YES the new Modal module is a lot of fun...

@pkirn@mastodon.social Zebra 3 is fantastic — I love the final UI: beautiful and clean. It’s a bit heavy on M1, but a single instance runs perfectly, so I can’t use it like Zebra 2 with many instances as drum engines. My only complaint for now is that when Zebra 3 is loaded in Max the UI feels sluggish: all the knobs lag when dragging. I’m not sure whether this is a Zebra 3 issue or a Max issue. It works perfectly when loaded in Ableton.

@Baggypants@mstdn.social @sean_ae@post.lurk.org I can hear the music when I see this... first level? It stays in my phone's emulator, but the controller has a slight delay so I have to punch it with a uncomfortable groove :D
stepped into a big pit of [pattrstorage] i accidentally overwrote a JSON file connected to all the presets(savemode 2). now I’m rebuilding every preset from memory.

@GuyBirkin @tokinogake Thank you for the kind words, Guy! Now that you mention it, I can really smell that scent of melted plastic! :D

@azkyll Thanks! I was trying to bring my Max for Live devices back into Max and gradually incorporate them into a main patch.

@CasualObserver good news is i just saved the first 86 presets from a timemachine backup✌️ i’ve upgraded to 9.
Has anyone tried the Zebra3 final beta(the one with the new UI) in Max? I've noticed that all the knobs and sliders in the plugin are sluggish when adjusting values with the mouse. It worked fine in Ableton Live, this issue only occurs when loading the plugin in Max. This problem didn’t exist in previous beta versions or in Zebra2.
