We often hear about shiny new technologies like Google's AI Overviews before we even begin using them. In our latest publication, led by Shir Weinbrand, with Daniel Angus & me, we examine the evolving public discourse around AI Overviews. As AI search summaries continue to reshape how we seek and produce information, we share insights into how this discourse is being framed.
Hello friends, its me again. This research study is still open and we are happy to onboard more participants.

Started an exciting 4-week conference/research trip on a turbulent note, due to some unplanned, unpleasant encounters. Just as I was getting angrier and crankier, I went back to reading Reparative Media (Escoffery, 2026) and realised that the discomfort I was going through was part of unattended, unhealed wounds, decades old. Healing them needs the community to be kind to each other. In a bid to save the kindness within me and extend a healing hand, I am posting this rant.

Reflections after an epic #AoIR2024
People I cite in my work are real. With real people strengths and weaknesses, ups and (more often) downs.
Publications are conversations at a given time, exploring something we are curious about or taking small steps towards big changes.
Right now, we are all striving to build bridges for a good digital future. While we carry the ghosts of our past on our shoulders
