We've just tagged the first release candidate of Ardour 9.0. This is intended for people who want to help us with testing. There will likely be more release candidates.

We've just tagged the second release candidate of Ardour 9.0 and announced strings freeze, so that translators can start their work safely.
Please use https://nightly.ardour.org/ to download and test. Since Ardour 9.0 is not yet ready for production use, please do not package it for Linux distributions.
We expect to tag at least one more release candidate.

Ardour 9.2 is a hotfix release for the hotfix v9.1 release, but there are a few new features, such as MIDI note chase and note duplication
New in development: hold Shift, then click and drag to brush-paint notes at global quantization. Works in both the inline editor, the bottom editor panel, and the pianoroll window. Coming in Ardour 9.0 whenever it's ready. Patch by @PaulDavisTheFirst@fosstodon.org

With Ardour, you don’t have to make all these adjustments manually every time you need to export a project. Instead, you can export multiple variations of a mix from presets. Let’s learn how to do that!
