My final term of MLIS classwork is done on Friday and I'm working on the last of my take-home assignments. Friends, I'm glad I saved this one for last because it's *so much fun.* There aren't many assignments in this program I'd actively call *fun* but boy this is one of them.
I'm curating a dataset for a Research Data Management class, and it's some cool data to poke through. https://www.seanoe.org/data/00688/80041/
After reading a Murderbot novel, my brain enjoys playing with language the way SecUnit does and I find myself thinking "I could use a comforting hot liquid". I don't know why but it always makes me chuckle reading how SecUnit views humans.
It’s a testament to how good Trinity College’s tourist marketing is that, without fail, when I tell people I’m studying library science in Dublin they always guess “At Trinity?”
Nope, the only MLIS program in Ireland is at University College Dublin. But that campus is honestly a monstrosity of ugly MCM concrete buildings so it makes sense non Irish people don’t know about it.
(The newer buildings are a bit better but it’s still not exactly Trinity)
