So a vendor chose to advertise their upcoming conference at Shmoo. 2024 and we still have all white male speaker pools for these events. WIATF?? I'm fortunate to be an Internationally recognized Public #Speaker and the Author of "Cyber Security Career Guide". I do my level best to give back to this community.
I'm also a #pilot and love #aviation. I live in the northern Midwest of the US so if I want good #BBQ I gotta make it myself, and that's just what I do.

When HRC and NAACP issued their travel advisories I reached out to our full executive leadership team and told them not only would I not be traveling to Florida but that they needed to start thinking about asking others to travel there as well as how to protect our employees there.
I was actually very impressed with how they've handled it since, although I still have to explain to some folks why Florida is not an option for team meetings at this point.

@kr1st@mastodon.radio @M0YNG@mastodon.radio well I run it pretty lean on the ground (that red lever you see me adjusting is the fuel mixture), so at low idle and lean mixture it's probably burning 2-3 gallons per hour, so maybe a gallon or so.
