Signed up for @matuzo@mastodon.social's Smashing Conf accessibility workshop. I can't wait :)

These drawings are pure CSS (no HTML). The demo uses custom properties so it is easy to change things like color of skin, hair, shadows, etc.

Here's the demo on CodePen: https://codepen.io/alvaromontoro/pen/xxzqmee

Unfortunately, there's a problem: because of the color format and filters and all, sometimes the colors don't match on certain screens. Plus some computers may struggle processing it.

Today's divtober word is "monster." I drew No-Face from Spirited Away (although technically it is not a monster but a spirit.)

Hello world!

My main mastodon account is @alvaromontoro@front-end.social

Mastodon must be one of the worst user experiences I've seen in a long time.

These are the drawings I coded for divtober'22. I added all of them (and some alternatives) in a blog post, including some background for a few of them.

What is the deal with mastodon.social and mstdn.social? People seem to share the links interchangeably, but I can only interact with people on mastodon, not mstdn (where I don't seem to exist? 🤔 )
