Die 150 Leute fürs Meetup sind geknackt, danke! 💪
Dazu gesellen sich ein paar hundert Sticker, die ich auslegen werde.
First day #makerfaireruhr is done.
Kids came to play games on my steam machine, while I could explain #homeassistant and my PokyPow and the #minirack.
See you tomorrow!
Last tests before the #makerfaire ruhr.
Join me at my booth:

Let's talk about #homeassistant , how I control the gaming PC with my PokyPow via Home Assistant and have a casual gaming session!
Everything put together in a 10 inch #minirack
@homeassistant@fosstodon.org that is demo worth for home assistant 😁
Cliff walk in Ardmore Ireland. Looks like an old ship with a crane to me.
My FreeCAD experience the last 2 days was very frustrating.
I made the design parametric with variables, only using the default axis and planes as references.
But fillets, oh boy, they destroy everything, when you change variables.
Anyway, got a decent power supply mount for my 10 inch #minirack
I uploaded the file to Gemini and Claude when I was stuck and asked questions.
That actually helped sometimes!
Das Home Assistant Meetup in Hürth hat nun 147 anmeldungen.
Kriegen wir die 150 voll?
Bitte an Nerds teilen 🤓
DOOM in @homeassistant@fosstodon.org in a #minirack, don't mind if I do!
Thank you @frenck@fosstodon.org
I hosted another @homeassistant@fosstodon.org on Saturday!
It was great!
150 people. If I had spoken to each person for just 5 minutes, that would be over 12 hours of nonstop talking.
I wish I had more time to speak to all of you.

My daughter pulled out the power cord of my robo vacuum just enough it sometimes charged.
Until tonight. Tonight the vacuum started leaving the dock because of the low battery while we tried to sleep.
Maybe I should put the vacuum in another room and not in the bedroom 😁
Even waveshare is getting into the 10 inch #minirack ecosystem.

Ach Effizienz!
Dabei hab ich super viel bestellt 😃
I might have spent too much money on this... But a 10 inch rack is coming into my home.
Not really for my home, but more for the table/booth I will set up at the #makerfaireruhr.
A new blog post is out!
Bose SoundTouch rescue
I build a quick and dirty internet radio streaming box with arcade-style buttons to not throw away the Bose SoundTouch system.
Current status of my pokypow: Right before insanity.
I bought a mainboard for demo puposes.
Now this board did not boot, when the PokyPow was plugged in.
It was stuck, not even UEFI.
Then I removed the PokyPow it got further.
Plugged it in again and then it stopped.
WTF?
At some point I could but to the OS.
Looks like, when the Kernel takes over control of the USB chip everything is mostly good.
Maybe some protection circuit from the mainboard until the Kernel takes over?
Looking into it 🔍

Building a PokyPow Demo Dashboard in Home Assistant.
Any ideas how to show it off?
Ugreen Power supply for my 10 inch rack.
I could not find any dimensions online, so I ordered it for a test fit.
Looks like I can make it work.
Now testing how it behaves with different cables and workloads.
I want to power:
- router 5V
- Home Assistant Blue 12V
- Odroid H2 15V
- Switch 9V
- random USB things
