Thousands of books (no exaggeration). Flat prices - 20p for children's books, 60p for adults.
Very crowded, it that's a problem earlier is better. Usually serve cake, tea and hot rolls. And the cake particularly is usually excellent.

@Mutedog@mastodon.social Hi! Hope you don't mind a cheeky brewing question. I've been giving the silver birch in my garden a haircut and I have a large pile of birch branches with seed pods on them. Have seen you doing interesting things with bits of tree in your brewing posts, have you ever brewed anything with birch branches or catkins?
It looks incongruous next to all the indie rock and actual rock, but I loved The Corrs as a teenager. Saw them at the Wembley Arena and it's still one of the best live performances I've seen. Andrea Corr's voice is something else.
In hindsight, becoming a massive folkie at university wasn't that big a stretch. The seeds were all planted.
