One thing I really appreciate in Nivalis Nights is how it continually peppers you with tasks of varying urgency that make sure you can never completely relax... yet the environments are so rich with detail and atmosphere it's hard not to just stop and wander and take it all in nonetheless.

Can't believe I never watched The Wild Robot before today - and had barely heard of it, for that matter. Very pleasant and touching film that explores some very relatable themes across all three of it's main characters.
Especially curious to hear more about Fink's story in the sequel, hopefully.

Been thinking a lot about fleshing out my cast of characters lately - and did a full revision of the reference for my Alolan Raichu character, Zac, as well as making a completely new rabbit character, Jaze =)
Got a bunch more character ideas lined up I hope to show in the coming year as well!
Finished up watching The Ghost In The Shell - the new one, that is. The newest one. There's so damn many of these haha
But I think it's a very good adaptation. Pulls ideas from SAC and the original film and executes them well. Sits nicely between SAC and Arise as to how much I like it.
Last month I ordered a bunch of sim racing gear for myself as a treat and the bulk of it arrived - but one £300 part of it got held up at a depot for no clear reason and me and the seller have been collectively working together over the past fortnight to get the couriers to get their act together.
Ultimately it's looking like they've lost the package for good and the seller will have to send a replacement, at a significant delay.
But through the whole thing I've been extremely patient and cordial with the support agents, both of the seller and couriers, and it just... really reaffirms that despite everything that's not ideal in my life and upbringing and environment, I think I turned out okay.
No, not despite, but -because- of those struggles I became someone who's reasonable and rational even in frustrating circumstances. And even as many normies see me as a threat or a defect, at least I can have some confidence that they are, truly, in the wrong.
