@ZoidbergForPresident@kolektiva.social the irony here is the fact that Google Pixels are, hardware wise, the most secure device available right now. GrapheneOS is just using that hardware fully and adds plenty of privacy and security features on top. There is zero Google software in GrapheneOS by default.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social thanks, it was this per app location scope I was looking for. So you have any progress updates on this features? Are we talking weeks, months or years away? I think I heard about the plans of this in the Discord server over a year ago. Not sure.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social I've heard a long time ago you guys are working on a gps spoof per app? Like I want a specific app being spoofed because it needlessly requires location data, but other apps should have real location. I know there are some apps that can spoof it globally through developer options I think. But that would be an inconvenience in this case.

@yoasif@mastodon.social @ZoidbergForPresident@kolektiva.social Android is built on AOSP. Sure, Google has written most of that code. But I said Google software, as in Google Play services, Google apps, Google tracking, etc. Such things barely exist inside AOSP. And those little things that do exist, GrapheneOS has removed.
