What #FOSS #selfhosting options should I consider? Requirements are multiplatform clients (iOS, Linux, Firefox extension), self-hosting on Linux, and i guess 2FA support but I'd also prefer a separate 2FA client on iOS that is also FOSS.
Any suggestions?

@parismarx While I don't think we should do much with it, I think we should absolutely advocate for the public seizure of OpenAI's property like he's suggesting. Water and Electricity are managed by Municipalities (usually) and I think we should also own and distribute AI on the local level. We don't need to pay him for it, imminent domain that shit.

Honestly, I think any dollar earned above like $50m in a year should go directly, 100%, to supporting these goals. Removal any and all loopholes like storage in assets, loans taken out against collateral, or other such tomfoolery

@SuperSelena64@vmst.io I’ve always wanted to do this mod on my SCPH-1001, but with MiSTer, another mod-chipped PSone, and a Memcard pro to FreeMCboot on, I haven’t found it worth it. Plus, the original laser still works just fine so there’s really little reason to. But it just seems fun to do!

Attempting to access what little supports there are was miserable and slow. The ONLY way we were able to access them was by responding to the threat of more DHS involvement with a lean-in to the camera and saying “good, let’s do it”.

I literally and unironically think that we should take as much money as necessary from every billionaire until all people are housed, fed, and medically supported.
Bonus: many people would need to be hired to build the infrastructure necessary for this to happen! Jobs in construction, electrical, medical, logistics, and much more would be necessary!

Suddenly pushes to bring her home from a child psych unit (that was only getting compliance from her because they were sedating her non-stop) turned from intense pressure to an IMMEDIATE reversal of a 9-month waiting period for residential treatment to an available spot opening up… tomorrow.
This PRTF also had significant problems: failed to assign her a therapist after the one she was initially assigned left for a better opportunity. Ignored us when we said she wasn’t ready; shamed us.

I forgot to mention - One of the hospital staff that reported us to DHS has, THE DAY BEFORE, called my daughter a sociopath (possibly right, but completely inappropriate for her to do in her position)
The actual help we needed was a psychiatrist to provide an Rx for an anti-psychotic. Problem is, a growing kid will grow a tolerance to a fixed dose over time. At which point, the urgency for support is pretty sudden.

So when I do, I see an absolutely appalling amount of unhoused people in my town, and I know they’re there not because they’re bad people or deserving of it, but because we have all collectively failed them in order to let a very small number of absolute MONSTERS enjoy watching the misery from their space boats or whatever the fuck.

you would be crazy to get mario kart world in this bundle. DK:B is incredibly good, Pokopia is great too so i get picking that, but Mario Kart World is the most 7/10 game i've played in a while.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Game Bub (https://www.crowdsupply.com/second-bedroom/game-bub) for a while. Tito @ Macho Nacho Productions on YT made a video on it yesterday so I finally pulled the trigger. I’m excited about the potential for it in the future with its nice and powerful FPGA.
I also love that it’s got a 3:2 screen and the shipping model will be horizontal like a GBA rather than the most common DMG vertical style.

I've mostly been playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PS5) via Remote Play, so I wasn't overly critical of visual quality, but I'm in chapter 4 and playing on my 4K PC monitor now and it looks *really bad* - now, if a 60fps mode is provided I always choose that, but this looks pretty bad even considering that it's trading some visual fidelity for frames. I think the upscaling is just bad? Super weird decision.
