I have only good intentions, but “Your secret is safe with me and I can give you a ride” is usually the wrong response when a coworker says they are pregnant.
Thousands of invasive advertising engines use the world’s most sophisticated predictors of human behaviors to anticipate and manipulate our purchasing habits. They know when we’re pregnant before we do and what we will eat for breakfast next Tuesday.
So why do they keep trying to sell us Jared Leto?

Hey, that’s a good idea for a post. I’ll have to develop* it later when I’m not in the middle of something.

The funniest part of The Onion taking over InfoWars is Alex Jones pathetically panicking for no reason. He is the brand, for the same reason Turning Point USA is falling apart after Charlie Kirk’s karma: fascists only follow personality cults.
Jones could continue grifting anywhere. “Find me at Truth Bombs dot Chili and subscribe with gold so the feds can’t send it to my victims.” But no, he is flailing because his conspiracy factory of a brain cannot comprehend cause and effect. A single unsold pallet of “InfoWars®: dead kids are crisis actors” ball caps is his apocalypse.

There’s an old Soviet joke. A province built a bridge over a stream. Since all locations of strategic importance needed guarding, local officials assigned a guard. To pay him, they assigned a cashier to the project. To ensure the cashier worked properly, they assigned a bookkeeper. With such a large staff, they had to assign a general manager. When orders came to reduce staff, they removed the guard.
This Friday, I highly recommend seeing the legendary Greek mythology adaptation debut on the big screen. It is a dynamic, challenging, and genuinely moving fusion of ancient legend and modern flair.
Christopher who? I’m referring to Hadestown the Musical.
“People tend to like it when people learn and grow and change instead of digging their heels in and being weird about it.”
