@migratory @okias The automated checks do go the extra mile, but manual curation is still essential for the nuanced perspective on device support.
This isn’t about superseding the old tables, but rather fine-tuning them with additional metrics. The idea grew out of running the next kernel and the need for regression tracking and deeper checks.
The nice thing is that it’s OS-agnostic, so any OS can benefit from it.

The flow is designed to be simple:
- Pick TuxDoctor flavor - QT, GTK or CLI
- install in your OS (
apt-get,apk addornix shell) - Click the Run All tests
- Review the Test Result about the summary and check details for tests
- Decide if you want to upload the results to database (git repo), filters personal identifiers
- Check the TuxDoctor Checks page for troubleshooting or state of feature that Failed
