For #ThrowbackThursday here's the PICO-8 Classic I built!
I made the "fantasy" console into a real console!
I made custom branding vinyl labels on the controller and console, built and branded a matching keyboard and designed a custom, clean boot-up for the system as well!
It can also connect to a CRT for that extra authenticity!
If this is your first time hearing about the PICO-8 go check it out! You're in for a fun time!

mastodon 4.7.3Polymath Technician, occasional artist and all-around Nerd Girl excited about retrogaming, tech, Star Trek, D&D, comics and whatever else I like!
I PROMISE IT'S SAFE FOR WORK - someone told me if I did my own OnlyFans it would probably end up being some obscure, weird thing.
So I made a proof-of-concept Game Boy version of how I would distribute my own 8-bit, cartridge-based thirst material! 😛
My yellow Gameboy Camera is the same shade and even texture as my yellow Famitsu model Gameboy Pocket and they look amazing together!
Another throwback video post from me! Why Not!
Here's the time I got my Xbox Steel Battalion controller (and pedals) to connect to my computer and with custom software to map the controls and I played Hawken with it (even though I had to spoof an authentication server to play the now-delisted game)
#throwbackthursday to when I successfully got my Apple Pippin to run Doom!

Following up from yesterday's post about PICO-8, this is Jelpi! Hes the PICO-8 mascot and sort of like a default sprite, kinda.
Anyways, he paid me a visit as you can see, so I made a comic about our adventures together!
Jelpi fan art!
I was playing the original Picross on my Super Famicom and the solution to this Picross puzzle is literally Picross itself.
