@mmasnick Wow, a bunch of those Muskrat minions got into the comments. I don't think they understand words.
I cannot express how uncomfortable it is to have a # at the end of your command prompt. I'm setting up a new webserver and, instead of setting you up with a user with sudo privileges, the server host makes you log in as root to begin with. Icky!
@luciedigitalni@aus.social I don't like reality shows so, if I were to make it, it'd have to be a scripted, probably sci-fi, show about Emergency Mowing. I would do it, except that I'm not about to figuratively cross the picket line. #WGAStrike

@yerald@social.coop @bookstodon@a.gup.pe Oops, that first one is for the TTRPG. In recompence here's a couple more.
And here's one for The Integral Trees and a link to the artist's page where you can buy a print. http://www.michaelwhelan.com/galleries/integral-trees/

@SmudgeTheInsultCat@mas.to We can either ban guns in urban areas or we can ban people from urban areas. I think the latter would be significantly harder not to mention that guns have no need for urban areas, particularly ones without people.

@yerald@social.coop @bookstodon@a.gup.pe While we're at it, the He Who Fights With Monsters series has some pretty awesome covers too.
@DosFox@tech.lgbt Seems like a thing stuff with clocks should always have, either that or something like NIST radio to automatically set itself.
@DosFox@tech.lgbt Does the clock have battery backup? Mine doesn't so I don't bother setting it.
Can someone explain how a device that has no accelerometer or gyroscope and only one camera could possibly function as an AR device? (hint, the answer is almost certainly "no, calling it AR is a blatant marketing lie")
No, Bunnings, I don't want your website to show me online-only items. If I wanted to get things delivered, I sure as fuck wouldn't be buying your overpriced crap.
@AnarchoNinaWrites@oliphant.social I'm starting to think that profits should be illegal. Pay your employees, pay your vendors, and, if there's anything left over, hire more people, add employee benefits, advertise, and otherwise grow the business.
I see no benefit whatsoever that profits bring to society and quite a lot of negatives.
@luciedigitalni@aus.social Monopoly variants all play exactly the same as standard games, however Risk variants usually have their own special rules, gameplay elements, and unique end conditions. For example: the LoTR Risk has a non-player fellowship token that ends the game in favour of the good guys if it reaches Mt Doom. I'm not sure what elements would be added to Canberra Risk. Maybe, if the Greens ever reach the cabinet everyone wins except the mining magnates.
