So I didn't end up paying city taxes last year when I did the filing (in the previous place I lived, they used RITA so it was part of when I filed) and they sent me a letter today bringing it up.

I had the money to cover it, and paid it as soon as I got the notice, but I'm still super sick with anxiety and it put me in a just a anxiety spiral feeling like I did something wrong and it's going to get worse despite me doing what they said.

So I found out a little trick I learned.

What you do is find a cool artist that has a style you like.

You interact with them and become their friend. Compliment their work, boost it, try to get others to commission them.

At some point, you ask for a commission. At this point they will be so appreciative of you that they will give a discount.

Take it, then tip the more than the commission would be initially.

Works all the time some of the time!
