"a set that brought the room to a standstill" - Darts
Based in England. Interested in outdoor/covid-careful festival-type gigs.
Reading about the Covid Inquiry and feeling a need to quote my own song again!
"It's the favour of your backers at stake
Our health is a sacrifice you're happy to make"

(Content note, song includes pointed language about death and callous behaviour)

Nice write-up in The Sick Times, of people making a success of covid-careful music shows.
"Her solution was to rent out a club herself in order to set her own standards ...
"... people get it. Many people thanked me and sent me messages like, ‘Thank you, I’m chronically ill. That’s really nice to think of me.’”"
“When I organized my first show … I had no idea how well it would do, but we actually sold out pretty fast!”
I was just reminded that it's #BandcampFriday!
Vexingly, I've had bother with my music computer (an old Mac) and haven't yet found time & headspace to solve that or hook up an alternative.
On the up side, I have been chipping away at ye olde bass practice in odd moments, and I reckon I could probably do a pretty good take now of that song I was talking about a while back, give or take a tricky bit in the middle.
Meanwhile... list of existing ones for browsing!

Re-upping in honour of the #CovidInquiry -
"Can't bullshit a virus"

3 mins of melodic snark, delivered by 1 voice plus 1 electric bass guitar.
Low-traffic account here, where I post about songwriting, and sometimes about other people's music or related stuff :-)
