👁️ Simon Novak, Ordinary Human Extraordinaire 👁️

Hello, fellow humans.

Due to the air being literally on fire last night (it was hot in my room), I had an absolutely rotten night’s sleep. If I don’t manage to get a nap in before stream time, I’m gonna skip tonight and come back on Wed with more Doom 2016. Stay tuned for any updates.

Hello, fellow humans.

I tried to take a nap.
It did nahzing.
I'll see you guys Wed for more Doom 2016.

(Art by Lightklok, their carrd is in my bio.)

Due to all of the good luck I've been having getting all of my games and apps working in CachyOS, I'm going to do one last test stream with CrowdControl and the Deus Ex Randomizer. If that one works, then I can reserve my Windows partition for emergencies and go Linux-only.

I know it's kind of weird to be happy that I'll be able to play more of my games in Linux again and can reduce my reliance on Windows that much more, but when I'm getting attachments from spam emails listed among legit files in explorer, I'm not kidding when I call Windows one big microaggression in OS form.

Bad news (for my local community): The local sushi bar near where I live went belly up. That's another local business gone.

Good news (also bad news for my waistline): In it place they opened a ramen shop.

I love ramen.

I swear if they open a Polish or Indian restaurant next I'm never moving.

I'm not streaming today so I figured I would shout out this demo I played the other night:

It's Goldeneye, but in WWII and it kind of rules.

W: #Quake
F: #Prey Mooncrash
S: The final test stream for a while, featuring #DeusEx Randomizer with #CrowdControl

There will be no fan mission stream today, fellow humans, on account of me really missing #Hitman: WoA and wanting to play more of that.

Catch me on my channel here:

Still flipping a coin to decide if I play the Dark Mod or Hitman: WoA today. Somehow it's still coming up tied.

I'll let you guys know if either one pulls ahead.

TIL you can just host your own instance of the open-source search engine, SearXNG, locally. (Or you can just use any number of instances out there, Garuda Linux's instance is actually pretty good.)

Don't know why I'm mentioning that, it's not like there's anything happening to the largest search engine in the world or anything.

I can't decide if I want to play more Thief/Dark Mod, or switch things up and play more Hitman for today's stream. :blobfoxthinking:

We are ripping and tearing. It'll be happening on my Twitch channel below:
https://www.twitch.tv/Simon_Novak

We will not be taking questions at this time, because every answer will be rip and tear, until it is done.

Hello, fellow humans.

Unfortunately, I actually had a decent night's sleep last night, so today's Doom 2016 stream is moving forward as planned. See you at 5PM Pacific for more ripping and tearing.
