NEW RULE: Anyone who states that the RNLI is acting as a "taxi service" for people in the Channel, should be banned from all TV networks forever. As it's spreading disinformation from the far-right, and vilifying volunteer rescue services. Who are currently under attack by ignorant and racist thugs, who think people should be left to drown. https://rnli.org/about-us/our-work-in-the-channel Start with Lowri Turner who repeated this exact lie on Channel 5, and go from there.

Police last night arrested Daniel Thomas, aka, Danny Tommo, on suspicion of criminal damage and reckless endangerment. If they proceed with charges and prosecute him, he's facing potentially a life sentence for the reckless endangerment charge. As he's blatantly placed the life of a rescue worker in danger, when he slashed a dinghy that was already confiscated and in their custody. My hope is that he tries to fight the charges. Given the moron livestreamed himself carrying out the crime.

Meanwhile Andrew Tate posed for pictures with none other than Nigel Farage. Farage also described Tate as "an important voice for young men". The same Andrew Tate who said women should take responsibility for being raped. Farage also infamously stated in interviews that his source for the misinformation he spread about the Southport murders and caused the 2024 race riots, was none other than Andrew Tate. That would be pretty embarrassing to bring up, if say there was a by-election happening...

If I were Ed Davey, Zack Polanksi or Andy Burnham, right now I would be begging Carol Vorderman to contest the seat as an independent with an anti-corruption platform, similar to Martin Bell against Neil Hamilton in 1997. And do everything to keep the story of Farage, secondary incomes, and suspected bribes in the spotlight at interviews, Question Time and even by using privilege at every session of Westminster, Holyrood, and the Senedd until the by-election.

George Galloway flew to Bucharest and interviewed the Tate's. Where he said they were "victims" comparable to the allegations that were made against Julian Assange. I'll say more about that and Galloway's views on "bad sexual etiquette" another day. However Galloway also accepted donations worth £5,000 from Tristan. Making him the single biggest donor to the Worker's Party. So potentially Galloway has wilfully looked the other way and benefited from the proceeds of crime.

To put this into perspective. Farage was paid £91,200 for just four hours work by Direct Bullion. That's only £146 less than his annual salary for being an MP. No wonder he can't be bothered to do his main job when his side hustles are this lucrative.

Jacob Rees-Mogg went on national radio and said that the people who died in the Grenfell Tower, did so because they lacked common sense by listening to the "stay put" order by the fire brigade. He was not only defended for his remarks by the right-wing. But he was re-elected as a Tory MP in 2019, was still provided a regular platform by every media outlet in this country, and has his own show on GBeebies today.

Five women have been confirmed as victims of modern slavery by former Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c151k0k4eqgo Private Eye had been reporting on the disgusting activities and sexual assaults of Fayed as far back as 1998. Piers Moron wrote a glowing obituary for him in 2023. Except the original title was, "My friend Fayed, a man who wore clip-on ties so they came off quickly when he met a pretty girl." Moron hasn't withdrawn it, even in spite of what is known now.

Farage is under further scrutiny from Parliament.

The 'man of the people' failed to declare in his register of interests, three of the five mortgage free properties he owns.

The two that were declared were his mansion in Surrey, and a beachfront property in Kent.

Obviously that's a huge breach of ethical standards that Parliament sets out.
But it also raises serious questions about his wealth. Given this is the same Farage who claimed he was financially broke in 2017.

The new charges take the total for Andrew to 42, and Tristan to 19. It's possible that the UK will take the opportunity to have the extradition carried out by the United States, so that they can be detained and stand trial sooner rather than later. Although the Romanians have agreed to extradite them, they will only do so after their trial for human trafficking is concluded. But there's still no trial date, despite the pair being indicted in June 2023.

Rupert Lowe's modernised National Front, otherwise known as Restore, are apparently convinced that Nigel Farage will be forced to contest a by-election in Clacton over the £5 million bribe he took from a crypto billionaire.
The one he took as the owner of Reform, and just before they announced policies to benefit crypto billionaires.

If the Parliamentary Standards Committee rules that Farage breached the rules and suspend him for at least 10 days, then he would be subject to a recall petition.

Gianni Infantino has lost his senior advisor. They quit over his plans to carry on his shares scam, despite the fact three confederations with 136 out of 211 of the nations signed up to FIFA have all opposed it.

Infantino insists the media has misreported his get rich quick scheme, and it's all for the benefit of Infantino and the game of football.

Is Alley Cats potentially the first show where there isn't a side in the so-called "culture wars"? Because it isn't just "snowflakes" who thought it was crap. Even GBeebies, who will normally promote anything that they think will "trigger" people to the left of Oswald Mosley, slated it as well. Their reviewer Alex Davies, suggested that it was bad that it was time for Ricky Gervais to quit TV. For once, I actually agree with GammonBox News.

Sticking with Grenfell, Reform's former housing minister Simon Dudley used the deaths there to argue that "everyone dies in the end", and that housing safety regulation brought in to make sure buildings didn't go up like a tinderbox and were safe for human habitation, had gone too far and were hindering house builders. He was defended vociferously online, right up until the point that Nigel Farage announced he was sacked. Everyone then towed the line about how he was a Richard Tice appointment.

Meanwhile despite being wanted for numerous sex crimes in two countries, the Tates have been allowed to live freely and even enjoy overseas travel outside of the European Union. This in spite of them still having more than adequate resources to be considered serious international flight risks. Worth remembering that the Tates have enjoyed support from some well known political figures in the UK.

An unfortunate part of watching a lot of political content on YouTube, is inevitably getting fed by the algorithm clips of Piers Moron Unhinged.

Admittedly some of these can be a guilty pleasure to watch. Such as when he gets torn apart by Mehdi Hasan.
Although that's the debate equivalent of watching videos of a fire ant colony being wiped out with molten aluminium. You know one side never stood a chance. You just want to see the result of the glorious and utter decimation.

We've just had the MP Rupert Lowe downplay the horrific tragedy of the Dunblane school shooting to suggest that Britain overreacted to "one murder" with a gun, rather than implement gun control after the worst mass shooting in the history of this country. Because Lowe was upset that his father wasn't able to keep his pistols for sport shooting. A position he's not alone in. Former Crime Minister BoJo the Clown also did this, where he compared the handgun ban to "nanny taking away the toys".

UEFA's 55 members have voted to boycott the World Cup, if FIFA proceeds with their plan to sell off shares in the tournament to private investors.

A move so brazenly corrupt, that Gianni Infantino resorted to offering $40million bribes to football associations to agree before September 19th.

Of course it's a brainchild of Infantino (who would look set to gain at least $10million from the scam) and the Trump crime family.

Hopefully UEFA do not capitulate.

If the other parties were smart, they would look for an anti-corruption candidate to rally around and make it clear that's the reason. The Tories and in particular Kemi Badenoch are too stupid and egotistical to even consider it, and would declare the other parties scared if they encouraged people to hold their noses and vote Tory. So hopefully there's someone out there prepared to take up that position, besides Count Binface.

I'm also struggling to find in the reports the fact he thought it was acceptable to mock the Labour MP Rosie Duffield, who was holding back tears while recounting her own experiences with domestic violence. Or his comments about "Muslim savages", how he felt "there is not nearly enough Islamophobia in the Tory Party", how elections should be held on Islamic holy days to stop Muslims from voting, and other Islamophobic pieces.

Not a single outlet eulogising him has mentioned that he received a police caution for domestic assault, after he punched his girlfriend who was at that time 20 weeks pregnant. His misogyny was also blatant in the pages of the Spectator, who ran his piece on Harriet Harman as their cover feature in 2009. Where his commentary started with; "Would you? I mean after a few beers obviously, not while you were sober."

Liddle was also a vicious homophobe. Calling it "unnatural" and a sign from God that gay men shouldn't be having sex, if they needed drugs like poppers. He didn't see the funny side when Private Eye pointed to one of his columns talking about his own sex life, and suggested that equally should be a sign from God that he shouldn't be having sex and it was "unnatural". If he was having to take drugs like Viagra.

UEFA will still be boycotting tournaments while Infantino plans to carry on selling off the World Cup.

This means European nations may be pulled out of the Under-20s Women's World Cup due to start in September in Poland.

And the under-17s Men's World Cup set to take place in Qatar this November.

Sony has decided to screw over customers yet again.

Customers who purchased movies from Studio Canal on their PlayStation accounts, are not only having them removed from their account and deleted come September 1st.
But Sony isn't compensating anyone for them losing the media that they paid for.

It goes towards proving the saying that if buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't theft.

I wonder if they'll extend this to games. Since GTA VI is going to be entirely digital download.

Farage is outlining this as the people versus the establishment. When he's been part of the political establishment for about three decades. It seems he was likely advised in advance that he was facing suspension long enough to trigger a recall petition, as the Standards Committee has been investigating his previous £5 million bung from a crypto billionaire that he didn't declare. This is the same move BoJo the Clown pulled before the Standards Committee published their findings against him.

Reform have removed their Cryptoassets and Digital Finance Bill from their website.

This appears to be due to Parliament and even Farage's usually friendly client journalists, questioning if the £5 million bung he received from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne effectively bought Farage to promote policies for the benefit of crypto billionaires.

Including how Farage secretly lobbied the Bank of England on cryptocurrency.

It is not only pointless to speculate, as we have none of the evidence that the police will have. But also foolish, as it could jeopardise Kerry's right to a fair trial. The chief crown prosecutor of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)'s special crime and counter terrorism division said: "Our prosecutors have worked closely with the police to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring this case to court, and we will continue working with them as their investigation progresses."

"As with all murder investigations, understanding the 'why' is a key part of our enquiries," he said, adding that it was "a particularly intensive and complex investigation". Second is that no motive has been established, and the police are clear that they are still investigating that. Meaning they aren't certain why he allegedly carried out the attack, but are pretty confident they have enough evidence that he did it.

Farage may also be doubly screwed and have to contest a second by-election. As his resignation does not stop the investigation or put an end to any rulings by the Standards Committee. They would resume the moment he was sworn in again as an MP. So if the Committee advises the House to suspend him for 10.days or more, the recall petition would still be triggered.

RE: @ShredderLivesOn@mastodon.scot

It's quite disturbing that Twitter actively promoted this pile of shit. And that the owner of the platform, Space Karen, has been retweeting the far-right glorifying the murder of "traitors".

But please tell me again why Lisa Nandy should be celebrated for simply leaving Twitter, instead of condemned for her failure to regulate it?

Citizen Vigilante is white nationalist murder fantasy.
Apple and Amazon should be ashamed of hosting it on their servers.

@wood5y@mastodonapp.uk Counter terrorism police got involved once new evidence came to light over the course of the investigation. That isn't unusual, given how many lines of enquiry police had in this case. That could have been anything from a manifesto found, or evidence of an obsession he might have had with Widdecombe, or extremist political writings in his home. Until he's charged with a terrorism offence, we won't know what exactly it was that got them involved.

Police have issued a statement that Ann Widdecombe was killed in a "targeted" and "brutal" attack. However they're still not declaring it a terrorist incident. While this doesn't reveal much, it rules out the theory of it being a burglary gone wrong. Although that theory was pretty thin when the suspect had to travel over 250 miles. It also appears that police are still operating under the belief that the murder wasn't politically motivated.

Lisa Nandy could have brought forward legislation regulating social media at any point in the two years she's been the Culture Secretary.

Instead she did nothing. In fact worse than nothing.
She's ignored the problem, announced she's leaving Twitter to go to other social media pages where political discourse is still a cesspool, and legislated to ban under-16s from social media rather than deal with shit like the owner advocating the murder of "invaders and traitors".

What a joke.

Remember those football shirts that Reform put out? For the fan that wants to show that they hate black players, without making monkey gestures at them.
Well Farage has taken the opportunity to rip off his supporters.

The price of the shirt itself has gone up from £39.99 last year, to £49.99 today. Fair enough.

However if you want one autographed by the Dear Farage, last year it would have cost you an extra £60.
Today he's charging an extra £150.

Yep. The greedy bastard really wants £199.99.

What are the odds that the Reform mob sitting there were all internally screaming "TRAITOR!"

On Vine's show, Carole Malone has not only vilified welfare recipients. But also people who refuse to accept poverty wages, in high pressure jobs. The worst example might be when she called ambulance drivers in NHS England ungrateful and lazy, because so many were leaving over low pay and poor conditions that meant they couldn't carry out their duties. Vine never once pushed back, or got anyone within the ambulance service to respond. #CancelVine

I still maintain that the collective IQ of the UK will jump three points when he's off the air forever. The man has no problem in acting like both sides have a valid point when it comes to things like genocide, war crimes, homophobia, racism, etc. But specifically on the issue of welfare, and particularly that received by disabled people, he seems to have a very real issue. He also doesn't care for improving public discourse on the subject. Why else would he book Carole Malone? #CancelVine

@Ulrich_the_elder@thecanadian.social Unfortunately there are places like Clacton that view being in a racist party as a positive. It's the constituency that re-elected Douglas Carswell when he jumped ship to UKIP and kept him at the 2017 snap election. It's why Farage picked that seat in particular, rather than try somewhere like Thanet South or a constituency in Kent where Brexit destroyed the environment to create the 'Farage Garage' lorry park, and turned the place into a giant toilet.
