Oh dear. @whatthetrans@journa.host seem to be serving a fake reCAPTCHA “verification” dickover that's trying to induce people to download and run malware of some sort. For those who’ve never seen one of these before, do not ever follow any instructions telling you to paste something into a terminal or the Run dialog, especially when it doesn't even show you what it wants you to paste.

I didn't think it was possible for me to be more disappointed in the “centrists” at Scottish Labour, but they’ve managed it. https://www.thenational.scot/news/26021610.pro-scottish-labour-group-turns-anas-sarwar-transphobia/

@nyankat@beach.city Very likely, but if one person learns of this sort of attack, and therefore becomes more resistant to it, because they saw this toot, it'll be worth it.

@GreenSkyOverMe I did not know about the blue laser! I’m going to have to keep an eye out for that - sometimes it lays over at a yard near me.

@jackeric@beige.party Ah, I didn't realise they released the regional votes before the entire region was done. Looking very good for the Greens. @Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt @jackeric@beige.party You need to have all the constituency seats as well as the list votes to be certain, but yes, from effectively second on the Green list it's very likely.

Interesting. Just got served an SNP advert focussed on attacking the Lib Dems of all folk (for breaking their promises to go into coalition with the Tories, and for possibly letting Brexit-supporting Reform or Labour candidates to win). I must say, I’m always disappointed to see negative campaigning.

@QueerMatters@mstdn.social COVID was when I gave up on climate change. Even if you ignore the millions of dead, and the millions more left disabled, the neoliberal hegemony couldn’t bring themselves to incur large short-term financial costs for an enormous long-term financial benefit, and climate change is several orders of magnitudes larger in all these factors.

@Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt No, she came second, unfortunately: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2026/scotland/constituencies/S16000199 If she's on it, she may well get in on the list, though.
