@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange thank you for taking the time to write and share these :)

@jerry@infosec.exchange deleting second stage verification systems as a 'microservice' probably wasn't the best of plans x)

@Michaelvaliant@writing.exchange I wouldn't object to it x) having 500 characters certainly makes it more flexible too.

@feditips@mstdn.social thanks, this was really useful to read

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange sounds good to me! Happy to see it is much more chill, and hopefully lacks the RT for RT type nonsense

Hello everyone, I have jumped from the sinking ship and looking for the #writers and #readers of #fantasy and #sciencefiction over here. I'm a comedy fantasy writer myself, living in Japan.

@ailsabristow@writing.exchange I suppose neither/ other covers it though :)

#NaNoWriMo is generally going well. My word count is mostly editing book 5 in a series, but I'm getting into book 2 of another series as well. Feels weird not to be totally focused on the writing though this year!

@ailsabristow@writing.exchange surely they are both for opening and closing?

@pkemner@penguicon.social it's a bit wonky on this side. The last eruption, about 100 years or so created a mini volcano on the side of it, but you can't see that from the north.
I used to do the convention circuit in the uk, but I'm in a similar boat to you right now. Hoping to start getting into some newsletter promo lists and amazon ads next year when book 5 is released. How many have you written now?

@ewdocparris@writing.exchange well that's pretty cool. Super impressed by what these generators are making now

@pkemner@penguicon.social I'm over in Shizuoka, near the big old volcano! I write comedy fantasy, just about to release book five of my first series which is a bit more swords and sorcery themed, and book two in a dungeons and dragons style spoof where the characters are all dragons pretending to be people.

I have to say, I'm really impressed with some of the community features on here. Little things like how easy it is to add decent content warnings into a post give the platform a whole other feel to it from other media sites.

Any other #comedy #fantasy writers on here who want to chat? Looking for more #writers to fill my feed!

#WritingCommunity how is everyone doing today for #Nanowrimo ? I'm a fair bit behind because I'm taking care of newborn twins, but getting some words down when I can!
