Have a WIP of a player character I'm designing to use for play testing @pack_of_ferals@aethy.com .
Also, unrelated to any of this, but I will be moving back to Aethy soon. As welcoming as many other servers (including this one) are, Aethy truly is the place that feels most like home to me online and now that I know it isn't going down anytime soon for sure I see no reason why I shouldn't go back.

Small thing from my boring everyday life: it's not much, but I bought a smart watch on-sale in order to avoid missing important calls without being forced to stay glued to my phone when I don't want to be, and finding out I can have a custom watch face of any image I want has helped it feel a little less alien to me in and a little more like a nice little novelty. 😊

Depression's got me by the throat more than usual since I had to fuck around with my HRT and figuring that shit out caused more dysphoria and issues than I anticipated, but hopefully soon I'll finally be able to draw more regularly again. I miss thirsting over my main babygirl.

@vsitante Aw, that's oki! I rarely celebrate my OCs' birthdays too. Sixx is just an OC that's been particularly healing and therapeutic for me in the last few years, so I've been drawing her a ton. 😊
Also I think I prefer the Puerto Rican version! Sounds more inclusive and flexible in its interpretations. 🙂

@Scorpio Aw that sounds so satisfying! 💕 I love it when things just seem to line up "as they were meant to be". 😊 Helps me feel grounded in something, a flow of sorts; even if that thing I'm grounded in is chaotic.
Do you find that your OCs sorta develop in their own unique unexpected directions as you work on them over time too?

@Zafe Oh, interesting! I can be very simplistic and to-the-point when naming my characters, so it wouldn't surprise me much to find the same names used by other people.
Sixx is literally just named that because she represents a part of my childhood centering around that age (six years old) and I lack originality sometimes lol.

@evifneves Yessss same here! I used to go with the date of creation, but now I find it much more rewarding to instead work with astrological, numerical, and thematic references. Whatever feels right to me for the character.

@Pajamajapes Hah! I would've thought Tom's birthday was astrology based since he suits his sign so well! And Valentines Day being Kat themed is so sweet. 🥰 I don't know much about Rat but I *love* his design. 💜 Such an enthusiastic fellow in the right situations. 😊
I almost made Sixx's birthday February 29th because it's a leap-year date and she's my only OC who never ages, (she is my inner child, afterall) but since she shares many of my preferences and coping tendencies I thought an even number felt more fitting.
