Repair Cafe Barry

The beauty of holding our repair cafe at the library is that there is free entertainment for your wait!

We've had quite a few sewing machines in today from more modern ones to a beautiful old Singer.

We're ready for you at Barry library! We kick off at 10 and will be there until 1 fixing your broken items completely for free.

Reminder that we are all volunteers so we make no promises or guarantees. But our talented team will do their best.

We're back at Barry Library this Saturday from 10am until 1pm to fix your broken items for free!

Will you be joining us?

We're in full swing with a wait of about 1 hour now and quite the variety of repairs in; vacuum cleaners, lamps, clocks, a doll, a heater, trousers, sewing machines, and more!

With all the rain we've been having, it's no wonder we've had an umbrella in for repair.

Let's hope there's no bad luck from it being put up inside!

We've fixed a guitar amp this morning too! We don't get many of those.

We are back at Barry library from 10am until 1pm this Saturday!

We're also looking for a new social media volunteer, so if that's you or you know someone, let us know!

We're finishing the last repairs and wrapping up but we'll be back on Saturday 4th April.

We're already busy here but please remember that you can come and get in the queue and then go into town to run your errands and return to us a bit later.

You don't have to sit and wait in the library if you don't want to when we have long waits.
