✋ No slop, please. Radiccio is made by a real human, avoiding AI as much as possible.

We are aware of the following issues with Radiccio on macOS 27 Golden Gate:
- Playback buttons may be nonfunctional [1]
- Apple Music artwork may not appear
- Sidebar icons display at the wrong size

We apologize for the inconvenience and we are working to fix these issues.

[1]: Workaround: Use the Controls menu items, or use keyboard shortcuts

I am so proud of this review that a VoiceOver user wrote about Radiccio. I’m fortunate to have learned a lot from working at companies like Apple and Sonos where accessibility was considered a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have. Good software should be for everyone. https://www.applevis.com/apps/mac/music/radiccio

Radiccio is not just a music player any more. Now it’s also a personal music server, and it’s the easiest way to stream your music collection from your Mac to your other devices. Introducing Radiccio Server.

It uses the OpenSubsonic standard, which makes it compatible with dozens of music players on many platforms – including iPhone.

Server is now built-in to Radiccio, with today’s version 1.4 update: https://r.crispycrunchy.computer/news/2026/05/26/version-1.4-radiccio-server

Radiccio Server integrates deeply with @tailscale@hachyderm.io. When you use Radiccio with Tailscale, your Radiccio Server appears automatically in the sidebar, whether you’re at home or away - so you can listen to your Mac music collection with zero configuration!

Remember Bonjour? With Radiccio Server, your music collection shows up automatically on other Radiccio players on the LAN - even if they’re using the free version! Now you can party like it’s 2003.

Today’s update (1.4.1) adds context menus so you can play an album (or artist) directly from the list!

Radiccio now works with Unstream! Unstream is a Mac menubar app that helps you support the artists you’re listening to, with links to buy their music where the artists get a bigger cut of the proceeds. Unstream can also scrobble your Radiccio listening activity to ListenBrainz.

Radiccio + Unstream make it easier than ever to #OwnYourMusic. Thanks to @kidlightbulbs@musicworld.social for the collab! https://unstream.stream

Today’s update brings Navidrome to Radiccio – one of our most requested features! Radiccio now also works with a variety of other OpenSubsonic servers.

Radiccio is a native Mac music player that works with local files, Apple Music, and many media servers. Get started with local files for free with no time limit, or get a free trial to use with Navidrome. Connect to multiple servers, and browse libraries separately or combined. Try it today!

Radiccio is now compatible with Keyhole! This is a free menubar utility which helps make your Mac’s media playback keys work more reliably. If you’ve ever been frustrated by pressing “play” on your keyboard and the wrong thing happens, this is the app for you. It works with Radiccio and other Mac music players, including the built-in Music app. Get it here: https://ikennd.ac/keyhole/

Thanks to @ikenndac@mastodon.social for the collab, and for making this useful app!

Dye works great with Radiccio! Dye lets you customize the colors of your Mac apps. Check it out!

Today’s Radiccio update allows you to open and play audio files and playlists – without needing to create a source first! You can now make Radiccio your default app to open these file types in Finder, if you want.

Also: customizable sidebar icons.

Hey, Mac developers and automation enthusiasts! Radiccio is a versatile Mac music player that now provides several ways to integrate with other Mac apps. Control playback, get notified of listening activity, and more. To protect our users' privacy, their permission will be required. Check out our docs, and as always, let us know your feedback! We can't wait to see what you build.

Not sure what to listen to? In Radiccio, you can add a “Shuffled Albums” section to your Overview tab. You’ll instantly get a random selection of 20 albums from your library. Not feeling any of them? Click “Shuffle Again” to get another batch.

If you’ve been seeing the dreaded beachball a little more often than you would like (which, to be fair, even once is too much) – or if you’ve been having trouble connecting your Plex server – today’s update is for you.

Don’t forget to get in touch with us if you have any issues with or feedback about Radiccio. We are here to help!

We are aware of an issue with macOS 26.4 where, if you are an Apple Music subscriber, Catalog and Radio may no longer appear in the Radiccio sidebar. If this occurs:

1. Open the Music app
2. Wait a moment for Music to finish its tasks
3. Quit and reopen Radiccio

This should resolve the issue. If not, please contact us for support.
