Quicky

@hiphopheaven@mastodon.social Probably less Pixelfed interaction from me now - looks like Dan's just blocked me following my previous comment! It's a shame, I'd love to support him, but he doesn't make it easy. He's done some great work, but it would be awesome for community feedback to be taken on board and acted upon, rather than throwing the toys out of the pram when we get frustrated after hearing one thing and seeing another. #Pixelfed

@worldruined@mastodon.social There's a definite Musk-vibe to some of the responses, that's for sure. The last Mastodon instance I was on actually blocked Dan's account entirely for all users. When I reached out to the admin to ask why, they said, and I quote: "the individual running the account went on a fairly bad harassment campaign last year which resulted in a lot of spam and targeted harassment and as such we limited the account to minimize the blast radius of accounts on our instance"

@hiphopheaven@mastodon.social There’s not much to affect these days since Loops gets all the love. I’ve been playing with #Vernissage recently after getting frustrated with the lack of progress with Pixelfed. The iOS app and website for Vernissage are both absolutely superb. The presentation and performance compared to Pixelfed is phenomenal. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re interested in a fedi alternative.

@teamtoot Any chance of being able to increase the font size in a future update please?

@vernissage@mastodon.social For info, within the iOS app, if you go to Search, search for something that produces results in Statuses, then tap any hashtag within any photo listed under Statuses, you’re taken out of the app and into Safari. That doesn’t seem to happen in other areas of the app.

@vernissage@mastodon.social Very rapid, thank you!
