@eff@mastodon.social check out #Reticulum It offers strong encryption and can bridge over almost anything that has two points of communication such as #LoRa, local wifi and Bluetooth low energy (BLE), the internet, #i2p, #yggdrasilnetwork, even Morse code is technically with the ability of the specification. Truly amazing stuff.

@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net Since Vivaldi isn't open source with reproducible builds, how can we know that you guys aren't doing the same things they're doing or even worse in the binaries that you release?

@dim@fedi.dimmadome.net lmao makes Windows seem like an #SCP

@starlily@mastodon.social @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net I understand their position, but what I'm saying is that without the ability to reproduce an exact replica of the compiled binary, we can't know for sure what else might have been inserted into the final program before its released to the public.

@ambiguous_yelp@veganism.social We would all need a new euphemism then. Maybe just add the term "public domain" in front of things? Public domain movies. Public domain TV shows. Public domain FitGirl Repack of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. All public domain of course.
