Good morning from a cold and frosty #Scotland. Here is a winter shot of one of my favourite places, the beautiful Isle of #Arran. I think of it as our local island, only a couple of hours from Glasgow but a world away as well. #photography #ScottishIslands. Happy Monday!

Our local windfarm just happens to be one of Europe's biggest, hundreds of turbines quietly doing their work to keep us warm. It has a bleak beauty, especially in winter.

Trying to limit my weekend online time, so time to coorie down. Here's our old moggy, Winnie, who knew a thing or two about how to do that. Happy weekend all. #CatsOfMastodon

The frost fairies came and bewitched our cold city for a few days. This morning they've gone and it's like the magic never happened. Also, I can see the damage they've wrought on my garden and my heating bills with their frosty magic. Take the time to stand and stare when you can. #Scotland #WinterWonderland

St Andrews Day today. So here's a thistle.

It's hard to express how happy I am to be in possession of these two final missing bits of my new kitchen. It has taken the supplier ELEVEN goes to get there, but my joy at having two squares of blue MDF that are A. the correct size and B. not lost in transit is unconfined.

In a related note, I may need to get out more. Happy weekend!

@Buglife@mastodonapp.uk what a beauty!
