@wickedlester@fosstodon.org @dobbie003@fosstodon.org I actually started tinkering with Red Hat 6/7 in the late 90's. Installed Slackware 9 when it came out and been using Linux full time since then. Fvwm 2.x compiled on Slackware 9 was my first build from source.

Slackware is always good. First distro I ever installed and used - Slackware 9 or 10.
Back then Las Vegas had the Comdex convention. Dropped in on my lunch hour and got the 20 min short course on installing and using Slackware from the devs at their booth.
