@OrbitalGardens@spacey.space I imagine we’ll start to see more of these in the next few years. I can’t imagine they’re going to deorbit the ISS in one piece so assume a degree of disassembly will happen. I bet there are a few valuables up there.

@OrbitalGardens@spacey.space we once had a volunteer I couldn’t find. I dug 2 feet down & nothing but every year there was a sprouting in the same place. However I really like eating potatoes in all formats so I tolerate them.

@OrbitalGardens@spacey.space sprouting potatoes are eldritch beasties. I don’t know of many other plants so eager to get going, or so bloody persistent. They are the horticultural equivalent of glitter, once you’ve planted potatoes you always have potatoes.

@TechConnectify@mas.to cool. I’m glad you got some appreciation for once. My first thought seeing that’s your new video topic was “awesome, I’ve always wondered about those things”. Can’t wait to watch.

@TechConnectify@mas.to I know you catch a lot of crap over here, but I’m glad you left the other place. So few have and that saddens me. Why good folk finance fascism is beyond me. Thanks for being a good egg.

@tehgort@mastodon.social so I’m not an expert just to get that out there. Seeing the peg would be useful. But it also looks like it’s all been painted at some point. How was it stripped? Potentially somethings got in the thread & hardened again to jam it that way? Can you see into the thread at all to decided if this is the case?
