@howard@pdx.social @cdegroot@mstdn.ca I can confirm. I purchased from KOBO and I was allowed to download and read on my macOS machine.

@hajovonta@mastodon.online @kf@sonomu.club You can specify a series of unicode emojis but so far I am not aware of any standards using symbols beyond "a...z". Someone can write a RFC for this?
@kf@sonomu.club @hajovonta@mastodon.online I think this is due to running out of symbols to represent the numbers. 36 means "0...9" and "A...Z".
@jefklak@dosgame.club @vindarel@framapiaf.org You can download LISPWORKS. It's a commercial Common Lisp but everything is all set up. I don't think you can run quicklisp in it due to limitations of the free version.
@jefklak@dosgame.club scheme via Racket? It has a cross platform GUI if you intend to do some GUI work.
@mdhughes@appdot.net What about PlantUML? State diagrams?

@cdegroot I removed and downloaded the book from my Kobo reader but it appears to be the same book (I can't find the phrase "first revision" in the contents). Maybe it hasn't spread to all the servers yet. I'll wait 48 hours and try again.
@mdhughes@appdot.net @aparrish@friend.camp which ones can be used to build a GUI app on Linux or macOS?

@cdegroot@mstdn.ca The Kobo EPUB version makes it very difficult to see the formulas in the first few chapter. It's very blurry. The following images is a X2 magnification.

@cdegroot@mstdn.ca I purchased it directly from KOBO and this is on the KOBO Libra 2. Publisher date is 2/1/26. Kobo software version 4.44.23552 (11/13/25).
Can you try downloading from KOBO to check?
Thank you!

@cdegroot@mstdn.ca Thank you for looking into this. Also, why is Chapter 1 before Part 1? I normally see Parts then Chapters within Parts.
Thank you for writing this book.
