I already know this is a mistake to ask, but fuck it, it's Friday: Linux nerds: I grow weary of Debian. Please recommend me a distribution that is similar to Fedora, but which either uses apt or has as robust of a repository as apt. My single gripe with Fedora is that there are magnitudes more .deb packages than there are .rpm. Please do not recommend compiling from source, I'm looking for an everyday desktop computer, not a fucking project. And more importantly DO NOT recommend Ubuntu. I fucking hate Ubuntu. A friend I haven't seen in a long time sent me a video update out of the blue. I sent one back to reply. I was watching it back just now, and it's made me realize how terrible of a communicator I am. Somewhere between my brain and my mouth a perfectly cogent, succinct thought turns into a jumbled mess of half thoughts followed by tangents followed by a 50/50 split of either the second half of that thought, or a completely different tangent. No wonder I'm never able to get my ideas across. I'm frankly surprised anybody wants to engage with me at all if this is what it's actually like.

I got invited to Fal.con, I considered going until I saw it was in Vegas. If I wanted a one-way ticket to El Salvidor, I'd just buy one.
