I happened on this idea, because I was working for an artist, when I studied computer sciences. He constructed big, transforming sculptures moved by electric motors. He was always out of money, so he contacted IBM, because he thought his art could be interesting to them. And indeed, they sponsored him, all he had to do in return was put up signs in front of his sculptures "Sponsored by IBM". That was quite some time ago, though.

I didnt know he composed the song "Love in Vain" covered by the Rolling Stones on the album "Let it Bleed". He also composed "Me and the Devil", covered by "Soap&Skin" and Gil Scott-Heron (excellent version)!

Is there a way of just giving a "Like" to one song of an artist? And a list of "Likes" available would also be nice, to find songs again without following the artist.

Have you thought about trying to get a sponsor? As far as I understood, your music is in parts trying to visualize algorithms and relations of numbers (I may be completely wrong). May be IBM or some other big IT corporation would support you.
With IBM I would use the quantum computer research they have been doing for years and years. Prepare an example or two of music related to quantum "algorithms". Otherwise it's hard to gain a living with the music you compose, from my point of view.
