Prompted by a post I saw elsewhere, I think most people who follow me know this but folks still make text adventure games and they’re still very good! You can download many free ones here

Good morning. Made a tiny game about one of my first memories
I’m probably getting my bicycle tuned up this week and riding it for the season so I would appreciate it if everyone on here could suddenly push for great bike lanes everywhere and get that done by the end of the week, thanks
When a movie based on a video game comes out, I think they should do a physical rerelease of the game with the most godawful cover that ties into the movie like they do with books
Watching the child drive down the road in a wheelchair motorcycle and finally realizing this is a very silly film #monsterdon
Made another tiny vignette game in Flickgame about how a younger early 20s, irony-poisoned me bought the 12" single for New Order's single World in Motion from Encore Records in Ann Arbor, Michigan and paid The Ultimate Price. I will keep making more and more specific games until no one can understand what I'm referencing
Got excited about blogs and listed a bunch of games writing I liked this week

Just saw that Heart of Neon, the documentary about Jeff Minter and Llamasoft by @HeartOfNeon@mastodon.social, is now available for streaming and download. Of course I was going to love this, it's about my favorite game developer and studio. But it happens to be a very well made documentary too. There's moments in this where you see an indie games community that loves and supports each other and that's the best. It fills my heart with joy.
I just think blogs and personal sites are neat and more people should have them
Letterboxd should let you log multimedia applications made for the Philips cd-i
