@losttourist@social.chatty.monster Remember when you simply got in a car, turned the key and drove off? Of course back then you did all that driving without providing huge amounts of telemetry and personal data to the Corporation, what sad and primitive times.

"I don't sweat" "I wasn't listening" Cut from the same cloth.

@LordWoolamaloo@mastodon.scot Nooooooo! The Goodies yes, but also the mad, pun-ridden genius of I'm sorry I'll Read that Again. Goodnight Angus Prune.

@TimWardCam@c.im @libreoffice@fosstodon.org That's unfortunate, I don't know if this is a known bug, or something unusual. But I have to say with 22 years of LibreOffice (originally an open office user until forking) I've literally never had it update without asking. Nor have I had ever it break itself to the point of being unusable or to require dropping to the command line. Not to dismiss your experience and valid concerns, just I hope to reassure you my experience would suggest its a rare case.

If your charity runs a lottery you can forget ever getting a donation from me. I'm sure that doesn't mean much to you, but it feels important to say.

Tell me Fedi, what's your go to non-mozilla email client for Linux?

BBC out shilling for the anti-demonstration, anti-protest government again this morning. Apparently it cost taxpayers £150K to remove Banksy works from public buildings. A couple of things spring to mind: 1) The street value of these works would have far eclipsed the cost of removing them. 2) Banksy is recognised enough now to argue removing his vandalism is vandalism in its self. 3) Funny how it's our money now, but not when it being used to aid genocide. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2vnny7j5zo

@andyb@mastodon.au I have dog that thinks she's a cat. Does that count?
