@cstross@wandering.shop Look what arrived this week! Part of a good relaxed weekend breakfast. I’m only just up to the call-out to _Girl Genius_ at the comic shop. Very much enjoying it! Worth the $40.

@sbamueller@freiburg.social @cstross@wandering.shop You’re still ahead of me: 300 km/h Paris-Barcelona for the Eurocon a few years ago.
“Never say never.” Thank you, @cstross@wandering.shop 😢

@cstross@wandering.shop @sbamueller@freiburg.social I’ve seen the video. Zoom! But it takes something like 20 km to stop!

@cstross@wandering.shop True about the price. But I ordered a copy nonetheless.
I tried to buy a copy of @cstross@wandering.shop The Regicide Report in a Barnes & Noble in Reno a couple of days ago, but they're not carrying it. Not a lot of bookstores left. I was trying to avoid Amazon. I had hoped to not have to wait until Westercon to get a copy.
I read _A Conventional Boy_ on the flight from LHR to SFO. It covered the first six hours of the ten hour flight, and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you again @cstross@wandering.shop

@cstross @michaelrowe01 It was! I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s tinged with sadness that we’re nearing the end, though.
