1) Trimmed the lawn in the back garden;
2) Ordered some Spring bulbs to plant out - Daffodils; Irises; Anamones - as well as some verbena bonariensis seeds;
3) Finally did that dusting I've been meaning to do for ages

Sadly, so very true.
We also lose the ability to think for ourselves in many cases, and in the case of AI to be able to discern what is truth from what we're presented with.

Couldn't agree more.
When something goes wrong, for whatever reason, it takes out a plethora of sites, and causes problems in many different ways.
No matter how attractive it may seem in terms of cost-saving or efficiency, it opens the door to hackers or power outages, etc, to cause mayhem as there's a sngle point of failure.
Moral of the story: Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I'm surprised that we haven't seen another peak in numbers signing up for the #Fediverse.
May be that will come when the closures occur.
