Day 43. Hong Kong. 18 July 2025. Our last full day of our long trip.. and there's a thunderstorm. Typical! A morning venture to the bakery for some pastries results in a soaking. It's a few hours later when the rain turns light, we then make tracks to the market. Day 44. Hong Kong/Istanbul/ Manchester. 19 July 2025. Our trip is coming to an end. We're up at 4.30am, I look out of window for this final view from our 36th floor hotel. It pretty much sums up Hong Kong for me. Surrounded by high rise buildings & feeling enclosed. If I come back I'll stay in a different area. After a 16 hour journey via Istanbul ,we arrive home. Day 37. Tokyo, Japan/ Seoul, South Korea. 12 July 2025. It's a long day spent traveling back to Seoul. We arrive at the apt early evening & as we have a very early start in the morning, we settle in for the night. I didn't take any photos this day, so here's one from Tokyo. Day 40. North Point, Hong Kong. 15 July 2025. It's just under a 4 hours flight from Seoul to Hong Kong and arrive at the hotel around 6pm. A quick shower and then out for a bite and a little wander. High rise buildings dominate the skyline and the smell of anti mosquito repellent fills the air. Day 35. Tokyo / Shinjuku City, Japan. 10 July 2025. Weather is hot and humid, rain due later tonight. I've several rolls of film to get developed so I find a camera store in Shinjuku. Takes 4 hours, so we stick around & wander. We hit the Gachapon machines! Back in the camera shop, I notice a nice 35mm SMC Takumar lens for £22! In the bag. Negs & scans collected. Off we go & BOOM! Day 25. Busan, South Korea. 30 June 2025. It's our last day in Busan and I will miss this city a lot. We spend the day travelling on the Haeundae Blueline Park cable car then a sea cruise at sunset. Day 30. Osaka, Japan. 5 July 2025. Our last day here. So much seen and still so much missed. The last 6 days have flown by, even 6 more days probably wouldn't be enough. Spent most of the day strolling around the local area, visiting local shops etc. I loved these manhole covers! Next stop.. Day 39. Seoul, South Korea. 14 July 2025. Our last day in Korea. I'm glad we returned one last time before our next port of call. I return to the camera repair shop I visited some 4 weeks ago & explain the same issue again has happened with my Fujica AX-3. After 3 mins he hands it back to me, fixed. I ask how much."
