I see I somehow attracted some new follow requests despite dormancy here. No worries - most looked to be those who follow me elsewhere, too.

Ah, I see the "Your account must be verified, click here" scams have spread from Mastodon to PixelFed servers. 

I'm quite sure they're on Bsky as well, but probably getting squashed quick (that's harder in AP-fediverse space).

Please block and ignore!!!

Been thinking and learning much lately about networked communications intertwining with community, and hence human, spaces and needs and projects. In trying to characterize a problem I saw with SMEs and community orgs diving into the so-called AI hype about Agentic AI, the metaphor I stumbled to was so-called leadership grabbing a shiny new hammer some rando offered them when they haven't yet taken a look at whether the problem or need they have is a nail, a bolt, or a cake decorating project

One of the few things I'll take a chance on still existing in the world in 1 year's time is ... next year's @Hillside.

Best price you can get on tickets is buying them AT the festival. So see you in 2026 if I don't trip over you this weekend. #HappyHillside

I've been set to "approve" as my main mastodon activity has moved to @johannab@cosocial.ca .

Now I gotta find the follows I didn't approve because the control looks weird and clicked approve on the wrong one and then deleted the request I was testing .... 😲
