A final snapshot from my day out on #MOT business.
Came home on a different route, so you can see the single track road twisting uphill in this picture.
The weather stayed perfect for the whole day and, in total, I covered 250 miles (402 km)
Amazingly, and mostly due to the amazing XJ900F, I have no pain or stiffness however that may arrive tomorrow 😀
Also, the fuel consumption figures from the first half of the journey are 62 mpg. This is a 1990 carburettor fed naturally aspirated engine!

I also love a paper diary but my use of electronic alternatives, including fossify,has gone beyond what is comfortably possible on paper now 🤷

The big gouge on the plaice is where they gutted it. Being a flat fish means they have to keep things in strange plaices 😄

I don't think so but I think fishermen take the guts out at sea to prevent the fish spoiling so quickly so it would rarely be an issue. You don't often catch Plaice on a rod off the pier 😄
