First #parkrun since September 2024, don’t have the miles in my legs at the moment but made up with 37 mins, would have guessed it would have been over 40. Just need to keep it in a routine now.

While I’m hesitant to praise the club at the moment the camera system they’ve set up to get into gate S (upper main stand) has made the queue go a lot quicker & is much better.

Fairly happy with that my expectation was 3-0 so we exceeded that & was worried we’d be humiliated.

He’d done well to get between the ball & defender to force the foul shocked it was rescinded.

Came down out right again.

Job done
I think Frimpong is ok making the pass there as Writz was in a great position to receive it. The issue is it was a terrible pass.
Thought Gakpo‘s had a better game been present in the game, taken players on any obviously been ignoring all options to cut in & shoot on his right. Only negative was there was a second ball loose where he should have been for their goal when he was down in the box.

Really not sure what I think of “Getting new legislation around technology through much quicker” part of me thinks good the law often lags technology but the other half worries it’ll lead to knee jerk legislation for technology we don’t know what the impacts will be or that the knee jerk legislation will be poorly written.

Surprised Gomez starts thought Slott had an aversion from him starting as RB.

It’s nice getting in at half time & not thinking just need one more or worse.

This is a big change compared to 2010 when the position was to scrap Trident. It’s always been the thing I hoped didn’t happen when voting for LibDems.
“Sir Ed will tell the conference: "Britain's nuclear deterrent must be genuinely, verifiably ours – not dependent on Trump or whoever his successor may be. Trump has proven we can't rely on America as a dependable ally.
"As the UK now prepares to replace Trident in the 2040s, we should make the decision now to spend the billions required over the next two decades here in the UK, not in the US.”
One day I’ll succeed in a #LFC FA Cup away sales

While I’m glad this is now resolved it may have changed my match day habits for weekend games going forward. The protest coincided with them speeding up the queues for my gate so started going elsewhere for my pre-match pint which is cheaper, more options & get a glass about 110m from the gate.

@AlisonW@fedimon.uk @cfy@mas.to @edzilla@social.edzilla.info I’m in my 30’s & got asked for ID just last week, in my 20’s I started paying for most stuff using Apple Pay but if I was going out for a drink or to buy alcohol I knew it was the only time I needed to take my wallet as there was a decent chance I’d get asked for ID. In my late 20’s I’d still get ID’d going into bars, at pubs & also remember it happening in a restaurant having a meal with my parents. A couple of years ago to pick up a 12 rated game from Argos I had to show an expired 25-30 (that I was too old to renew) before they’d hand over the game as they ridiculously have a challenge 25 policy on any age restricted item even when it’s double the original age.
Sorry that last bit almost went into a rant about how stupid Argos are.

@mike@sauropods.win I thought that but starting him you know how long he’s expected to do. If you bring him on are you planning on him playing to 90 or 120mins then if you plan for 90 & it’s 120 do you need to do another sub to take him off.
