@Jakeout@mastodon.social @jake@fediverse.jarv.is @jensimmons@front-end.social what I'm trying to say is that if even an instance won't let you move/redirect that doesn't invalidate the idea of newspapers (or other companies) having their own instances. I agree that allowing migration would be ideal but I don't think it is required - any more than you would have to expect an employer to forward emails to a new job.

@chrisnicolson@mastodon.scot @attacus@aus.social I always thought that was a bizarre decision as it effectively made podcasts no differently from other radio shows on catch-up via sounds. Not sure why they keep producing podcasts now. I can see the desire to push the sounds app, and maybe if they delayed by a few days elsewhere it could still make sense - but with the 28 days anything you listen to elsewhere is very out of date
