For #SaturdaySky, just a typical sunset out at my property. You know, the usual. No biggie. 😉

The day started off with #OneJoyfulThing - just three girls, having a lazy Saturday morning after a late night gaming session.

The final result - four canisters and the spoon rest (pictures of that and some other things to come soonish). About five weeks of solid work between pouring, cleaning, bisque firing in Little Geek, detail painting, glazing, and glaze firing. These never fail to make me smile… how about you?

Recently restocked Rabbit trinket dishes. I know, I know. They look like Salami. This was a poor color choice, so I'll be making more and when I get them done I'll pitch these. But…. what color should I make them? OBVS NOT PINK. What color makes you think of bunnies and flowers?

Have you ever had a spot in your house just so messy and with piles of junk that it makes you angry to look at it? Like, why is all that stuff there! Why hasn't someone put it away? My #OneJoyfulThing today is that it's me, I put the stuff away, and straightened things up, and now I can't stop looking at the back of the couch that has had stuff piled in front of it for months. MONTHS. Did I learn my lesson? Will I stop piling stuff there? Listen. I'm happy now. Don't ruin this for me. 😉

@PhilRedbeard@mindly.social I say both of those things are compatible because they're both AWESOME FUN! Yes, even the academic paper!

"Well, let’s see, bombing Iran’s uranium enrichment program didn’t work, sending ICE into Chicago didn’t work, pretending to release the Epstein files didn’t work, sending ICE into Minnesota didn’t work, murdering a couple of protesters didn’t work, invading Venezuela and kidnapping their president didn’t work, bombing Iran again didn’t work. Hey, maybe a war crime will make people forget about the Epstein files!" - Steve Olson

@vxo@digipres.club Oh, the belly is 100@@ a trap. You may scratch her head... or the back of her neck at the base of her head... or the base of the tail... but not the back between the neck and tail, and definitely not the belly! Cats, I swear....!

@DarkestKale@mastodon.social Thank you, friend! It was a good event - I talked to a lot of people who not only was this their first No Kings protest, but their first protest ever! They felt very welcomed into the fold, even by old fogies like me, lol. I can't even remember my first protest, or what it was for. I'm sure my dad took me to more than one Vietnam protest when I was a wee thing in a carrier. I still have kind of a "protest hangover" today. ;-)
