I actually really like this characterization. Imagining different parts of your own psyche as distinct characters talking/arguing with each other can be a useful way to unpick the tangled web of emotions that we all live in.

I feel this so hard. I’m so glad that @Frank_NL@mastodon.hypnoguys.com and I started #Need2Obey — organizing a new event for the #EroticHypnosis community has been really rewarding, and much more popular than I expected!
I’m back in Amsterdam, and while I had a wonderful time in London, I’m really glad to be back home. I missed my husband, my own bed, and the air conditioning in my apartment. 🥵
Today is a day of unpacking, chores, and preparation. Tomorrow I’m attending a friend’s wedding, and Monday is the anniversary of my own wedding. (2 years already! Wow!)

Western Europe is currently going through a heat wave, and there’s not much air conditioning to be found over here; it’s sweaty and unpleasant, but I’m still glad to be here with so many people I love and care about. It’s an excellent excuse to eat lots of ice cream, though!

This morning, @Leo_125@mastodon.hypnoguys.com told me that he and his partner went out last night after the hypnosis session was done, and he felt noticably more relaxed about doing so. It also made him more confident and more adventurous with people, which he and his partner both enjoyed. It’s been an eventful trip, as my #London trips always seem to be. In addition to doing several #hypnosis sessions (of course), I also helped out with the handfasting ceremony between @bootblackcub@woof.group and @bearytales@woof.group, saw a musical on the West End, went to a Pokemon-themed drag show, organized a big group dinner at a ramen restaurant, and bought some new clothes. I also hung out with @SirKinkSteel@mastodon.hypnoguys.com, @HisNameIsOx@woof.group, & @Curiouscol@mastodon.hypnoguys.com (separately and together), and more friends are coming over later today.

Curious, I brought @Leo_125@mastodon.hypnoguys.com out of trance, and asked how he was doing. When I met up with @Leo_125@mastodon.hypnoguys.com, I could tell he was a bit shy and nervous. He told me that he had been into #hypnosis for a long time, but had only listened to audio files; he had never done a live hypnosis session before. He asked if I could help him feel more confident in his body, and more uninhibited in general. I was happy to do so, and suggested that we treat it primarily as a hypnotherapy session; some erotic stuff might happen, but that wasn’t the main goal. He agreed.

I started the induction, and @Leo_125@mastodon.hypnoguys.com went into trance surprisingly quickly; his eyelids were fluttering in less than two minutes! (Fluttering eyelids are a common indicator of hypnotic trance, although not everyone experiences that.) I encouraged him to feel pride and confidence in his body, and asked him take off his clothes to show it off; he willingly complied. Doing so also revealed his massive erection, which persisted for the entire hypnosis session.
