My young friend, the blackbird was very thirsty on this crazy hot day.. and was so happy I'd put out a large dish of water for drinking and bath-times
Give your garden birds water, sweeties. There are lots of new young ones around. It makes a difference 😘💕
A hot air balloon just flew above our garden, low enough for a wave and to say hi 😊

I've been having coffee, a salmon and cream cheese bagel and slowly waking in the garden with my dear lil' blackbird friend, since about 7am. Not a bad way to start the day. I've watched him grow up over the last 6 weeks or so and given him small treats from time to time, and now he always comes to say hello and gives friendly flypasses 😊
