@Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz Ys I am. It feels like it's taking longer, but in the end you have the pair finished in one go. You also only have to count rows and measures once so you know they will both be exactly the same.
@Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz As per usual, I am working on several things. Trying to get my sister's mittens finished (knitted in stranded colourwork, kiilling my hands), knitting my friend some slippers from the leftover yarn from her cardigan, crocheting a shawl that I am definitely playing yarn chicken with, and, as always, I have a pair of socks going.
@FeartnTired@spinster.xyz Remember last summer when I was knitting a shawl for my nephew's wedding and it ended up too small so I had to emergency crochet a different one? I am going to revisit that pattern (with possible modifications) with this yarn: (bonus Farah)
@LaylaAlexandrovna@spinster.club This sounds like when anyone with French ancestry finds that they are 'descendants' of Charlemagne. Sure, if you go off in enough directions through all the branches you might get there, but to say you are a direct descendant is a bit of a stretch.
@FeartnTired@spinster.xyz@Gelatinousrube@spinster.xyz Counting once is handy, unless you make a mistake (like I did last time) and have to rip back. But generally, yes, I like it better.
Apparently there are ways to do both sleeves at once, but I can't quite wrap my head around the logistics of that one.
