🔷 Julia ♠️ Ashley 🍓 Rose 🫐 Riley
🔷 We did another gift for @/sleeps-darkly.gay! Ashley was having a ton of fun drawing girltaurs and girlpenises recently.
(she/her)
I wonder if someone's made like a chart of how ignorant you are of how british punk music works. do you think the sex pistols are based? very ignorant. do you like chumbawamba? informed. Do you like Crass but also know some of their members fucking suck now? enlightened
🔷 So this started as a quick sketch to practice drawing girl penis(es) then a month+ later and we got carried away with this gift for @/terrible.moe on bsky~ 🌟

hmmm. yes. girlpenis. fascinating. I never suspected such things could be
♠️ Patreon illustration for @/pumamancer!! We drew Fel again except this time doing a biiig stretch in the morning~ 🌄

🔷 A Patreon illustration for @/nervousnessie!! Seems Rayne's keeping cool during the heatwave~ ☀️

imagining "everyone is twelve now" over the two castles meme,
the happy one says "age regression" and the dark one says "whatever the fuck is going on with US politics"
you ever have a song completely change your opinion on a band. we stopped being able to enjoy metallica cause of chumbawamba
last boost: thinking about how John Romero is still cool and John Carmack is still a cunt
♠️ So @/lumu.info gave us artist's choice for June's Patreon sketch and we chose to draw Falin Touden again, but better since we've watched some of the show since last time we drew funny fanart of her. Falin's delightful in those flashbacks :3

seems the takeaway from everyone who plays Fromsoftware's Kuon is "I should've replayed Fatal Frame 2 instead"
metal gear solid tells us that if you're confident enough in saying some made up bullshit you can get lots of people to believe you that's totally real like OSP
listening to MCR and the vibe I'm getting from The Black Parade is they loved Roger Waters era Pink Floyd and had their own take on something angsty like the Wall but for modern audiences and less commentary on fascism and WW2
I'm also learning MCR's Black Parade is a concept album of a guy dying in the hospital with the Cancer song and the first one being called The End and the last one being ominously called Blood.
this reminds me of an album from 1968 believe it or not
wonder if we'd be more powerful using krita rather than the jank ass clip studio paint 1.13.2 version running through Wine. out of all the features they have in newer versions the only thing that sounds cool is .webp images not crashing the program and slightly less shit text tools. CSP's text tools are as manual as it gets, you don't even get drop shadows without doing it yourself
I wish mastodon just embedded posts on discord without having to do some bullshit to share art with friends
overslept today. it's saturday, this always happens. wish it didn't so we'd have had more daylight time for work
we're not doing terribly at ignoring mastodon in favor of bsky. client switch really helped make main instance feel and look Nice. thanks phanphy.
can you imagine blasting this at an airport
I'd make that meme myself but I'm trying so hard to not lose focus on work
we're using LibreOffice Calc now to maintain a spreadsheet of posts posted on social media since being suspended from bsky for three days. it's such a breeze to just ctrl+c, ctrl+v and edit the text to fit here better
hello July was so BUSY for us with art we kinda let go of checking/posting here, will try and fix that
with art fight and the number of gifts outside that we did, this month has been SILLY for how much free art we've done. not a complaint mind, it's been fun
🔷 3rd Art Fight attack for @redstrate@mastoart.social!! We felt like drawing some non furry characters this year and it accidentally became an illustration along the way, oops. We hope you like it! Always admired your art from afar and Sofia & Gwen are a cute pair.

only weird quirk about LibreOffice Calc I've noticed so far is that cloning a sheet replicates the columns and rows like you had them, but they don't bring over the text formatting and style which is weird. at least clone formatting works from one sheet to another
I'm not sure what Pillowfort is trying to do becoming a nonprofit. it's an LLC at the moment, would they get some benefits from becoming a non profit?
♠️ Last month we did our first Vgen commission for @StoneGreninja@fgc.network!! ✨
His request was for Kasumi Todoh from Art of Fighting/King of Fighters! Not our usual area being mainly furry artists but we're still happy with how it came out~

also love that Fromsoftware transed Abe no Seimei and that basically doesn't matter at all for the story of Kuon? they just wanted Abe no Seimei to be a woman
we have two pics that need posting here hold on I can do one
🔷 I'm learning some dutch music from the 60s fucks. I don't think any native english speaker uses "hobo" as a verb but the dutch do whatever the fuck they want with english and we let them cause it's charming

we'll always argue that Tomino's UC Gundam can be strange about women and cold to make a point reinforcing the themes of the story, except Victory. The more I think about what we watched of Victory there's no defending the boy who has several moms and the hot babe squad that gets murdered one by one
