This popped up on my feed again. Very cool idea for a special coin in a pile of loot or hidden away.

mastodon 4.7.3AKA Larry Hamilton. My beard has an eclectic life of its own with summers at the beach house, but I get to play D&D.
The best RPGs are the ones you play.
I really like Obsidian (NOT the campaign management website! https://obsidian.md/)

Where To Find Me:
Some thoughts on RPGs I've been mulling over for a couple years
Finally! I fixed the blog and have an update post.
I've still got some tweaks to make to get all functionality restored, but it is well on it's way.
I discovered the Blog Bandwagon with the current one about maps.
I then wondered if the Blog Carnival is still a thing.
What about other challenges?

@chgowiz@dice.camp Thanks! I still got the game done. I rewarded those who backed. It'll just rake longer to recover my expenses or fund any new games.
The blog is down.
I will fix it when I get back from Gary Con 18.
The card game was released to backers of the failed Kickstarter.
Copies will be available at Gary Con, including the test decks and failed test prints.

This is probably my last Gary Con.

I finally ordered the test print for the card game!
It took about 6 hours to get all the cards the right dimensions, the template left off the extra for the bleed.
Now to wait 4 to 6 weeks for printing and regular mail delivery.
While I wait, review the editor's notes on the rules for the PDF.

It took me 3 rounds of Proof Decks to get things lined up right on each card. I just received the 3rd proof and verified that everything is lined up.
All that remains is to finish editing the Rules PDF and the layout.
My plan is to be done before Gary Con & have copies with me for sale.
Gary Con 18 is my 10th and the 8th since early playtesting at Gary Con 10.
The day job has gotten too chaotic and used up all my creative energy to solve problems so I'm taking a break.
I'll resume Friday Night Worldbuilding in 2026.

No Stream Tonight.
Will resume next Friday night.

No worldbuilding stream tonight.
I thought I escaped Con Crud last weekend but I've been sneezing and blowing my nose a lot and my throat it getting scratchy.
However, I can report that the things I walked through a couple weeks back for the adventure I ran paid off.
I'll be back next Friday for more worldbuilding.
Impromptu YouTube Stream!
Come join me and watch me deal with the issues of wrangling the art into the template.

A video about a sea slug than can detach its head and grow a new body came across my social media and inspired this post.

Using the long weekend to finally fix my blog.... I flubbed an edit and it made my blog unusable.
I have to re-build part of it in hopes I can speed up recovery of all the important parts - like the posts, art, links, and comments.....
Here's hoping for an update soon with a new article about being back online....
