Last month's Illinois primary elections needed RCV...

Illinois, what would your primary ballot look like with #RankedChoiceVoting?
With ten candidates running in the Democratic Primary, the winner will likely not receive a 50% majority. In fact, the nominee could win with 30% of the vote or less.
Already used in over 50 jurisdictions nationwide, RCV would allow voters to rank their candidates. It would unite political parties and ensure majority-supported nominees in primaries.

Happy RCV Day (1/23)!
Ranked choice voting is a simple upgrade to the way we vote that gives voters more choices and more power at the ballot box. By allowing voters to rank their candidates in order of preference, RCV mitigates the so-called "spoiler effect" and allows voters to vote for their true preferences without fear of "wasting" their vote.

tinyurl.com/NoRCVBan 👈👈👈 Tell Congress to REJECT a FEDERAL RCV BAN!
As RCV is beginning to see exponential success across the country, House Republicans in the US Congress have introduced the MEGA Act, which includes a provision that would ban RCV in all federal elections. This would be a huge setback for pro-democracy innovation across the US, and it would limit voter choice and power for all Americans, regardless of party affiliation.
