I’m also not leaving the community 💜, I’ll be around and am very much looking forward to continuing to contribute and volunteer in the long run.
See you at PyCon US 2026, maybe even less frazzled than last year.

I’m thrilled to have helped to bring the PSF to a place where this transition does not feel utterly terrifying and am grateful to all of the PSF staff, board, volunteers, and community members that have made that possible.
I’m not going to be riding into the sunset though 🙂. I am grateful to be able to commit 20% of my time over the next six months to support the current and any new PSF staff in assuring continuity and reliability around my responsibilities.
Just a shoutout to @Monorepo@fosstodon.org who is the reason I was remarkably less frazzled last year. Jacob is fucking great.
Stoked to see responses from the parking authority and appreciation from folks with mobility issues 💜 proud of this work https://whyy.org/articles/new-app-reports-parking-violations-using-laser-vision/
no better day than the day I add a new weirdware to the portfolio.

a modern implementation of the UI for opensprint hardware.
Web Serial + PWA means you can run a Goldsprint offline without learning how to build a cinder app or compile any nonsense.
i’ve helped too many people build/run SilverSprints, to the point of everyone’s frustration.
broke my arm. any tips or thoughts from other folks who type for a living on how to get back to productive (after first few days rest)
built some objectively cool shit for Philly Bike Action! and I am proud of it: https://bikeaction.org/tools/laser-vision
