I read 16 Dune related books by Herbert and/or his son. I was ready to rage-murder anyone left alive from his clan when in one of the distant books there's actual jews who kept their religion alive for 50 thousand years. I do consider the Dune stuff to be lesser quality than things like Hellstrom's Hive or the Dosadi Experiment.
